Grant Hobbs Marriage Celebrant
I take being a Marriage Celebrant very seriously but like to let my personality come out in the wedding as well. The day is all about you, so I very much blend in to the Wedding Ceremony.
I became a Wedding Celebrant because I had been asked to be part of many weddings in the past, and always had a desire to take the step and become a celebrant. I would never have thought however that I would be doing funerals as well as weddings.
I must admit I was a little worried about assisting in my first Funeral. I wasn’t sure how I would go, as I can be quite emotional at times. I think the fact that my years working in a professional capacity, I found the whole experience really good. It was great that I was able to give comfort to the deceased family, and work with them with their incredible journey with their loved one.
It is the same with the bride and groom. From the initial meeting a lot needs to be done by the Bride and Groom before their special day, and I like to get to know the couple so when it comes to wedding day I know them. The personal touch.
The people I meet at Weddings and Funerals are always supportive, and I love the feedback I get from people who come to talk to me after the service.
At my last wedding I was part of I was able to meet all the direct family of the Groom. Just the love of the Grooms, Grandparents, Mum and partner, sisters, Aunties and Uncles was really special. Because it was a small intimate wedding I felt I got to know them all so when I was conducting the wedding, it became more intimate and interactive.
I would love to chat to you if you are thinking about choosing a Marriage Celebrant. I love coffees so we can meet and discuss your needs for your speciuakl day. You may just want to chat over the phone, text or email. That is fine as well. Although I still feel getting to know you is really important as well.
Here is to a great decision you are making in getting married.
